Technique: Original Hand Signed and Dated Drypoint on Thin Wove Paper


Additional Information: This original drypoint is hand signed in pencil by the artist “Kandinsky” at the lower right margin.
It is also monogrammed and dated in the plate “VK 22” at the lower left image.
It is the ninth of the twelve plates from Kandinsky’s seminal portfolio of prints "Kleine Welten" [Small Worlds].
This drypoint was printed by Grafische Druckerei des Staatlichen Bauhauses, Weimar in a limited edition numbered impressions on this paper (there were 30 more on Japan paper).
It was published by, Propyläen Verlag, Berlin.
